CHALLENGE

Nik Software was frustrated with the inflexibility of its off-the-shelf Web shopping cart, and needed something that would grow with the company.

SOLUTION

After working with Nik to scope the needs and budget of the project, Daylight designed and built a completely custom e-commerce site, handling all the orders, shipping, fulfillment, and internal customer service phone orders for the company. It includes a back-end administrative Web interface for Nik employees to manage the online store’s products, features, and promotions, as well as a custom Web-based customer management system for Nik’s customer service agents.

The site launched in May 2007 and today is maintained and updated jointly by Nik Software and by Daylight
